CURRENT CLASS SCHEDULE
"Beautiful cookies start with the perfect consistency of Royal Icing…"
This demonstration will take you step-by-step through the process of making Royal Icing. You will learn how to bag it, color it, store it and dilute it to achieve the 4 common consistencies used by serious Cookie Decorators. Their will also be a review of floral work, lettering, outlining, and flooding.
(Please note this is not a cookie decorating class. It is strictly a Royal Icing demo)

"DECORATED COOKIES" CLASS
Join us for an evening of fun and education. This hands-on class will teach the basics of cookie decorating. Students will learn about cookie dough, royal icing consistency, flooding, stencils and more.

BEGINNER CAKE DECORATING
Have you always wanted to learn the skills to create beautiful cakes…? Have you wanted to review and update your decorating skills? This is the class for you!!!!!
This course teaches how to assemble and smooth a cake, create borders, flowers, and much more.

1 ½ CUPS SWEETEX SHORTENING
3 TBS. WATER
1 LB. CONFECTIONERY SUGAR
1 TSP. CLEAR VANILLA EXTRACT
PLACE SWEETEX IN LARGE BOWL, ADD WATER AND MIX AT MEDIUM SPEED UNTIL WELL BLENDED. GRADUALLY ADD CONFECTIONERY SUGAR, CLEANING SIDES OF BOWL OFTEN. MIX UNTIL BLENDED. ADD EXTRACT AND MIX ABOUT 3 TO 5 MINS. DO NOT OVER BEAT THIS ICING. IF STORING IN THE REFRIGERATOR UNTIL CLASS TIME, MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE ICING OUT THE MORNING OF CLASS, SO ICING CAN SOFTEN
Advanced Cake Decorating Class Outline & Supplies
Bring all supplies from beginner cake class
Prepare and bring 1 batch of practice icing using sweetex
Class 1:
Supplies: tip#2, lily nail set, 1 bag royal icing
Class 2:
Supplies: tip 48, tip 88 , dummy cake set-up (6” round dummy on 10” round board wrapped with contact paper. Miles will prepare for you)
Class 3:
Supplies :Tip 070 (ruffle tip), 4oz of fondant (any color appropriate for a rose)
Class 4:
Students will bring in a cake(s) to stack and decorate. Details to follow.

Call (586) 783-9252 or come into the store to register. The only way to guarantee a space in class is to pay in full at time of Registration, No exceptions.
For Adult Classes; Minimum age 14; fees do apply.
TO GET A REFUND OR CREDIT for cancellations you must contact us during business hours, 48 hours prior to class date. This gives us 48 hours to contact people on our waiting list. Classes start promptly at scheduled start time. Students must purchase or gather all necessary supplies PRIOR to start of class.
Doors open at 6:45PM for Evening Classes. Class Class Specials are only valid the evening of that class.
